What are Natural Killer Cells (NK Cells)?
Natural Killer Cells, or NK Cells, are a type of white blood cell that plays a key role in the body’s ability to fight off infections and diseases. They are an important component of the immune system and can help protect against cancer cells, viruses, and other potential threats.
Testing
We will take a test to see your NK activity and NK count. This can let us know if you have a lower-than-expected NK cell number and if treatment will be required.
How does NK Cell treatment work?
We use IV drip of NK cells after your cells have been cultured from your own blood. Treatment will be available 18 days after the laboratory has finished the process.
